Leila Motta Silva, born in São Paulo, Brazil, in 1946, was raised in a Christian home. Her parents, devoted to the Word of God, were her first Bible teachers. The family’s nightly devotions, where the children gathered in their parents’ bed, inspired her to deepen her understanding of the Word of God. At the age of 24, Leila married Ageo Silva and experienced a profound encounter with God at the Palavra da Vida Resort in Atibaia, São Paulo. This renewed her faith and intensified her desire for the Word of God. Self-taught, she dedicated herself to Bible study and has published four books: While I Meditated, Aroma of Life, The Church and Your Baby, and Sing My Soul – Memories.
